The Greater Good

Heath Gives is our commitment to the greater good. Directing our efforts in a few key areas, allows us to make greater contributions to the whole.

With this as our goal, we’re no longer accepting product-donation requests. Here’s why: smaller gifts, more often, cannot create the long-term impact we seek.

For one, by manufacturing our own product, we take responsibility for all our actions.
This has, and always will be, true. We continue making huge progress in our zero-waste to landfill efforts, because it's the right and responsible thing to do. We have a goal of leading in zero-waste and we're working towards 100% renewable energy for our future.

We partner with two organizations in our community that connect directly with our work. 3% of all sales from our Chez Panisse Dinnerware Collection go to the Edible Schoolyard, improving the lives of school children, through healthy food, in California and beyond. To date, we've given over $200,000 towards this effort.

Additionally, we are long-term supporters of SFMade a San Francisco organization that promotes local manufacturing. Heath San Francisco would not exist without them.
There are hundreds more manufacturers who can say the same.

Finally, our giving extends to local community and emergency needs, as they arise.
